Jim has taken the art of hacking together a few models to a new height with his Navy Seals Trident<\/strong> hack.\u00a0 His final piece turned out perfect and looks so good finished in gold and mounted on a plaque.\u00a0 Jim took the time to share with us the models he used and his process of cutting and finishing the final part!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\"I used some straight grained maple 5\/8\" thick. The \"Trident\" (which is named the Navy Seals give this emblem) is nearly 7 inches across.<\/em><\/div>\n

I have a Nextwave Automation CNC SHARK Pro. <\/em><\/p>\n

I used a Tapered Ball Nose - 5.4 Deg Tip 0.031 for the final pass. <\/em><\/p>\n

This was done on VCarve Pro 8.5<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

I have several friends who are Seals and I did four of <\/em>these per sheet to make 8 total.\u00a0 It took about 4 hours to do 4 of them.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
